BYARUMS BRUK

Byarums Bruk was founded in 1947 by the Bokinge brothers. They were innovative and started casting aluminum. At this time, aluminum had not been used commercially for more than 60 years and was considered as an exclusive material. During the brothers' era, most components were manufactured for the engineering industry. When Hans Pruth took over in 1974, he did so with visions of a thriving furniture foundry. In addition to the production of classic style furniture Byarums Bruk, together with the designer Björn Alge, began to develop completely new models. Good collaboration with designers has continued and Byarums Bruk today produces products that can withstand the Nordic climate.
