OUR HISTORY

2008–2012: A Strong Foundation

Within just two years, Vision of Home expanded its store space by 100 sqm and welcomed several renowned Scandinavian and international brands. The focus from the very beginning was on sustainability, craftsmanship, and design integrity.

In 2012, Vision of Home introduced DUX beds to the assortment and was soon recognized as one of the top DUX retailers in Sweden. A visit to the DUX factory further strengthened the team's expertise in sleep and comfort solutions.

2013–2017: Digital Growth & Exclusive Partnerships

In 2013, we launched our first webshop — opening the doors to customers across Sweden and far beyond. Online sales grew rapidly while the physical store continued to evolve.

In 2014, the shop expanded once more by acquiring the neighbouring premises, allowing for a broader selection of carefully curated brands.
By 2017, Vision of Home was appointed an exclusive retailer for Fritz Hansen, reinforcing our position within the premium Scandinavian design segment.

2018–2020: Celebrations, Outdoor Living & Continued Expansion

Our 10-year anniversary in 2018 was marked with celebration and reflection on a decade of design, craftsmanship, and customer relationships.
In 2019, we introduced our outdoor segment featuring brands such as Grythyttan, Fermob, and Lafuma.

2020 was challenging globally, but Vision of Home chose to grow rather than pause. The store expanded once again, and the assortment welcomed new, influential brands including Søren Lund, New Works, and Erik Jørgensen.

2023–2024: 15 Years of Scandinavian Design & International Growth

In 2023, Vision of Home celebrated 15 years of design excellence — filled with inspiring interior projects, loyal customers, and a growing international audience.

In 2024, several international furniture brands joined our portfolio, making our selection broader than ever. We also launched Vision of Home Business — a dedicated service for companies seeking to strengthen their brand identity through interior design, colour concepts, and spatial expression. At the same time, our work with private clients continued to grow, with larger and more comprehensive interior projects than ever before.

2025 & Beyond: A Scandinavian Design Destination

With our new flagship store on Sävvägen 6, Vision of Home enters its next chapter. Today we gather some of the world’s most respected brands within furniture, lighting, and interior design — including DUX, Carl Hansen & Søn, Stolab, Swedese, Eilersen, Vitra, Artek, Secto, Naver Collection, and many more.

We continue to evolve, inspire, and expand our role as a Scandinavian design destination — where personal service, aesthetics, and long-lasting quality meet forward-thinking interior solutions.
