Arkus Bicycle Bollard
Arkus Bicycle Bollard from Byarums Bruk is designed by Mårten Cyrén.
"I did a sketch on a vault, an arch shape, and thought that; at the right size, you can place the front or rear wheel in the vault and lock as needed. Two bicycles can also be attached to the same arch, but then placed on the outside of the vault. "In terms of form, I have thought of Arkus as a figure subordinating to architecture and allowing repetition in the urban space." - Mårten Cyrén
The bicycle bollard is prepared for ground anchoring through 4 pre-drilled holes with a diameter of 10 mm.
Casting foundations are available as an option.
