Charlottenborg Sofa 3-Seater - Outdoor - Sika-Design

Charlottenborg Sofa 3-Seater Charlottenborg sofa was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1937 as part of a series consisting of armchair, sofa and coffee table in rattan. This variant is made of aluminum rattan for outdoor use. It all started with the Charlottenborg armchair which was designed by Jacobsen in 1936 where he exhibited it for the first time at the spring exhibition Charlottenborg in 1937. The armchair has since been named after the castle. The armchair was originally called A.J 237 and was part of a series of original rattan chairs. Materials for outdoor use Alu-rattan is a weather-resistant powder-coated aluminum and ArtFibre is artificial fibers of maintenance-free polyethylene that withstand the sun's UV radiation. The sofa has a seat with Quick Dry Foam, which is available in many different hard-wearing fabric variants. Quick Dry Foam is quick drying foam suitable for outdoor use, it is designed to increase water and maximize air circulation for quick drying. Furniture made from these weather-resistant materials can be left outside all year round without maintenance, but preferably take in the cushions for winter storage.
