Sika Design

Sika Design was founded after the war in Danish Horsens by Ankjær Andreasen. The name comes from the Sika deer which is light and elegant. The company started with the production of wicker baskets until 1951 when they started up its furniture production. Through new methods of working with rattan, furniture was created that is characterized by comfort, quality and design. Today there is a large assortment of beautiful rattan furniture for both indoor and outdoor use. Among these is Arne Jacobsen's sculptural lounge chair Paris and more.
