VL45 Radio House Pendant
VL45 The Radio House pendant was born in connection with the construction of the Radio House in Copenhagen. The author was Vilhelm Lauritzen, one of the greatest architects of modernism and functionalism. The radio house pendant has since become a sought-after design classic that is in high demand all over the world. The Radio House pendant's historical relationship with the Radio House is clearly visible both in the luminaire's design and in its lighting technical properties. It originally functioned as general lighting in many places in the Radio House.
And with its powerful downward-pointing light in combination with the weaker lighting through the opal glass, which creates softer shades in the room, it is made to provide light over both festive and everyday situations.
