VL38 Floor lamp
Floor lamp VL38 by Vilhelm Lauritzen for Louis Poulsen was originally designed especially for the Radio House in Copenhagen. It is part of a series that also includes VL38 wall and table lamp.
The Danish Radio House was designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen, one of the most talented architects of modernism and functionalism. In collaboration with Louis Poulsen, he also created all of Radiohuset's lamps. The VL38 table lamp was used in radio studios.
The luminaire provides direct and directional light. The tilting luminaire head helps to further optimize the light scattering. The screen is white lacquered on the inside, which gives the light a pleasant spread.
