PH 3/2 is a “hybrid” luminaire with an approximately 30 centimeter large upper shade in combination with the proportionally smaller lower shades from PH 2/2. The luminaire has been designed based on the principle of a reflective three-shade system that directs most of the light downwards. The shades are made of mouth-blown, opalescent glass that is glossy on the outside and sandblasted matt on the inside, which gives a soft and diffused light. Aged Brass -The brass parts are partly cast, extruded and pressed. -Each brass component is gently and lightly brushed to create a fine texture that follows its round shapes. -The raw brass is carefully patinated through a precise process to darken the surface. -The brass shades are combined with a white lacquered reflector shade on the inside to improve light reflection, giving a soft, downward glow. -The brass surface is lacquered to preserve its appearance and ensure that it does not patina over time.
