PH 3½ – 2½ Glass Table lamp
Louis Poulsen presents PH 3½ – 2½, a table lamp based on Poul Henningsen's original design from the late 1920s.
The original design was marketed very purposefully to young students. Poul Henningsen himself was involved in designing the ads and the purpose was clear in the headline: "If the young student is to learn anything, he must have a good reading lamp"! The solution - his ingenious three-screen system. The table lamp is equipped with an upper screen in metal which with its white underside reflects the light softly downwards. The two mouth-blown lower screens in white opal glass not only make the light source more effective, but also provide a glare-free pleasant light in the room. The frame is silk matt brown lacquered and thus has the same appearance as the browned brass lamps from this time. The tanning process is not used today for environmental reasons, but the result is identical and at the same time not as receptive to external influences as the tanning was.
PH 3½ – 2½ is a historical detail in PH's wide range of products. A detail that gives a nostalgic touch without affecting the rest of the interior. Choose one of the four colors and make the lamp's presence in the room more or less prominent
PH 3½ – 2½ is equipped with an E14 socket that fits a wide selection of light sources, including several LED variants.
