VLA 26P Chair
The VLA26 Vega Chair, previously only found in the historic concert halls of the Vega Concert Hall in Copenhagen, is now being produced by Carl Hansen & Søn in collaboration with Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects. The chair, which is now being reintroduced, was designed in the 1950s and is a modernist masterpiece. The functionalist design reflects Vilhelm Lauritzen’s signature aesthetic and appears simple but with a lot of character. A well-proportioned and curved back provides comfort and embraces the person sitting on it. The stackable chair is skillfully crafted in wood and steel, with optional upholstery on the seat and back for superior comfort, while elegant wooden feet give a handcrafted feel.
