PK52 Professors table
Poul Kjærholm originally created the table PK52, from Carl Hansen & Søn, as part of a series of furniture intended for the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. The professor's table, as it is also called, combines wood and steel and gives a light and elegant impression. Something that came to be characteristic of many of Poul Kjærholm's works.
PK52 has a base of powder-coated steel and the table top itself is available in solid oak or Douglas fir. Alternatively in laminate, where one side is black and the other gray with a black-painted wooden edge.
If the table is to be used as a desk, there is also an optional drawer module.
The table top is reversible with or without drawer module.
Oak has a clearly visible wood structure when painted.
