Furniture architect Ole Wanscher's signature design is without a doubt the sophisticated Colonial Chair with its minimalist and functional expression. The armchair that also goes by the name OW149 is from 1949. The Colonial series clearly shows that Wanscher had a penchant for the sleek and refined, but also for his fascination for furniture design from 18th century England and bygone colonial times.
