CH88P Chair Stainless steel legs The CH88P dining chair is an example of Hans J. Wegner's exploration of materials. The elegant combination of upholstery, wood and steel shows Wegner's ability to make minimalist shapes soft and comfortable. The CH88P dining chair's smart construction and stackable quality make it very functional. The steel frame in combination with the wooden support and seat gives an elegant design and comfortable shape. Wegner originally developed CH88P as a prototype with colored legs for the international Helsingborg exhibition in 1955 in Sweden. In 2014, the chair went into production for the first time. The CH88P is available with a seat upholstered in leather or fabric, which provides even greater versatility and comfort, while the CH88T chair is available with an elegant molded chair in veneer.
