CH33T Chair The CH33T chair was designed for Carl Hansen & Søn in 1957 by Hans J. Wegner and remained in production for ten years, in a row. In 2012, the design was introduced again by Carl Hansen & Søn, in more designs than before. CH33T expresses simplicity with many rounded shapes. The tapered legs and cross pieces are coarsest where they need to support load-bearing joints and are thinned when the design allows it. The chair has clear references to the clean lines of the 1950s and 1960s and a beautiful construction in solid wood. The chair is today suitable for modern interiors. Oak has a clearly visible wood structure when it is painted and painted only in black. Beech has a minimal structure when it is painted and varnished in all colors.
