No 18 chair
The No 18 chair from TON was designed back in 1876 by Michael Thonet and is another of his classic models. This chair is based on the idea of the original cafe chair. The No18 is, in comparison to the No 14, both equally light and elegant, but it has a vertically padded backrest to provide strength and increase comfort.
The chair is made of lacquered beech with a seat in unbleached rattan. The unbleached rattan is significantly more durable and resists wear and tear significantly better than bleached rattan. Some color shading may occur naturally.
