Yngve Ekström
Yngve Ekström is the designer behind the "furniture of the century" Lamino. He has created several exquisite furniture with light, Scandinavian shapes. He was a contemporary of Bruno Mathsson and, like him, designed light, light bentwood furniture with classic elegance in the spirit of the Austrian Michael Thonet.
In the 1940s, Yngve Ekström, together with his brother, started the furniture factory Swedese, which still manufactures Lamino, among other things. Incidentally, it was created in 1956.
