Eames Plastic Stool RE
The Eames Plastic Stool is a reworked version of Eames' legendary Fiberglass Chair. When the chair was first presented in 1950, it was the first industrially produced plastic chair, made of fully dyed polypropylene. The dyeing is done to make it more resistant to wear and tear, and the plastic used in the chair is recyclable. The molded shell has a high, flexing back, a cup that supports the back and a front edge that is rounded to give the least possible pressure load on the backs of the thighs - all for a nice sitting comfort. The Eames Plastic barstool fits perfectly at the kitchen island.
