A201 Pendant
The A201 pendant lamp was designed by Alvar Aalto in 1952 for the library in Säynätsalo City Hall in central Finland. The lamp is made of shaped steel sheet and has a sculptural shape, beautifully lit as extinguished. The light that leaves the lower and upper part creates a beautiful halo, typical of Aalto, who wanted to make the light as direct and soft as possible.
