Lounge Chair Armchair
Lounge Chair from Swiss Vitra is one of Ray and Charles Eames' most famous creations and it has an obvious place in furniture history. In 1956, when the legendary designers designed this armchair, the idea was to make an updated version of the classic English club armchairs.
It took several years to develop it and the purpose was to satisfy the desire for a chair that combines ultimate comfort with materials and craftsmanship of the highest quality. The first Lounge chair had the design with Santos Rosewood and black leather. The foot was matt polished with black sides.
Leather Natural F is a very soft cowhide, whose untreated grain gives it a natural appearance. It is porous, breathable and warm to the touch. Through use, Leather Natural F acquires a lively, characteristic leather patina. It is processed with a tanning agent extracted from olive tree leaves, and the entire production process uses only harmless chemicals in the least possible amount. This sustainable aniline leather is available in four different colors. You can see the color chart in the Design tab.
