Little Petra VB3 Armchair Fabric
Little Petra was introduced back in 1938 when it received immediate attention and awards. The armchair is one of a few pieces of furniture designed by the architect Viggo Boesen. During 1930s Denmark, the style was called "funkis". This armchair is based on the original design but here instead with a high-set, winged backrest and unmatched. The Petra armchair follows the great success of Little Petra, named after Boesen's mother-in-law, Petra – who is said to be a small woman with a big personality, her presence felt in the body-hugging design of the armchair. Petra now carries the same bold character and aesthetic but in a larger form.
Little Petra fits into all kinds of environments and welcomes with its open and embracing revelation. The frame is made of solid beech and plywood covered in CMHR foam and polyester wadding.
