Table S.A.M. Bois, the table came about when Ateliers Jean Prouvé during the years 1941 and 1942 planned and executed a number of interior design projects for a chemical company in France. Many pieces of furniture are developed in connection with this mission, including a wooden table that exemplifies Prouvé's construction methods. Due to the shortage of metal during World War II, the "Table Salle à Manger Bois" was designed with wooden legs, leading to the name Table S.A.M. Bois.
Available in natural oak, dark stained oak or American walnut in several sizes.
