Resting bear from Vitra is one of many works by the creative duo Front dedicated to the systematic observation of sleeping or resting animals. This fascination inspired their design of a group of slumbering creatures – Resting Animals – whose poses exude peaceful calm. The largest is a knitted bear that can be used for a variety of functions, such as a stool, ottoman or backrest.
