Organic Armchair
Organic armchair from Vitra is a small comfortable reading chair developed by Charles Eames and Eero Saarinen in 1940 for the "Organic Design in Home Furnishings" competition organized by the Museum of Modern Art in New York. With its sculptural forms, it was then ahead of its time. Due to a lack of suitable manufacturing techniques, it was not put into production until 1950.
