Lounge Chair Armchair Lounge Chair from Swiss Vitra is one of Ray and Charles Eames' most famous creations and it has an obvious place in furniture history. In 1956, when the legendary designers designed this armchair, the idea was to make an updated version of the classic English club armchairs. It took several years to develop it and the purpose was to satisfy the desire for a chair that combines ultimate comfort with materials and craftsmanship of the highest quality. The first Lounge chair had the design with Santos Rosewood and black leather. The foot was matt polished with black sides. The Classic dimensions version retains the original dimensions, but the Lounge Chair is also available in a later variant (New dimensions) with a slightly higher backrest. Choose leather Leather Premium F is a relatively smooth cowhide with a matte grain and a fine top gloss. It is dyed through and lightly pigmented. The leather is processed with a tanning agent extracted from olive tree leaves, and the entire production process uses the least possible amount of hazardous chemicals. This pleasantly soft, sustainably produced semi-aniline leather is available in a selection of 22 colors. You can see the color chart in the Design tab. Leather Natural F is a very soft cowhide, whose untreated grain gives it a natural appearance. It is porous, breathable and warm to the touch. Through use, Leather Natural F acquires a lively, characteristic leather patina. It is processed with a tanning agent extracted from olive tree leaves, and the entire production process uses only harmless chemicals in the least possible amount.
