Butterfly Stool
Butterfly Stool is a stool designed by the Japanese designer Sori Yanagi in 1954 and produced by Vitra. The stool is made of maple or rosewood with brass fittings. With its softly curved lines, the mind is led to a flying butterfly, hence the name Butterfly Stool.
Sori Yanagi has combined Eastern design language with the same production technique for casting wood developed by Charles and Ray Eames. Butterfly Stool has become a modern classic.
