Dansish Vipp offers a range of exclusive pedal bins, household accessories for bathroom and kitchen, furniture and lamps. The company's history began in 1939 with a dustbin for Marie, Holger Nielsen's wife. He was a young metal worker who made a sturdy, pedal-controlled garbage can for his wife's hair salon. Today, Vipp is still a family business that has grown into a large range of products for the bathroom and kitchen with its origins in the functional philosophy of the pedal bin. In 2009, the pedalbin was included in the permanent design collection of The Museum of Modern Art in New York - described as a truly humble masterpiece.
