Widemar Armchair - Malmsten

Widemar Armchair Carl Malmsten designed the Widemar crest chair as early as 1942. The name was given the chair after Gärde Widemar, lawyer and politician who became the first female judge in the Supreme Court. It was on her mission that Malmsten designed this elegant chair. It was manufactured in a few copies but never came in serial production. This year, Stolab has given new life to the armchair thanks to the unique interpretation of furniture carpenter Julia Greek. It is a craft with many complex solutions, such as the folded back slats as well as the headpiece and arm guides that run in a long wavy line. Widemar is manufactured in solid birch and has a cushion covered in fabric or tanned leather from Tärnsjö. Contact the store if the pillow is desired with fabric. The armchairs are numbered.
