Saltholm Sofa - Outdoor Saltholm Sofa is a luxurious sofa where the restrained design of the teak frame is balanced by curved, lush cushions. In the sea between Copenhagen and Malmö lies the island of Saltholm. Sixteen square kilometers of desolate, Danish countryside. A handful of people live here in fairly spartan conditions in the company of about five hundred cows. Kråkvägen is not even ten kilometers from the center of both Copenhagen and Malmö. Total seclusion, total proximity. We designed our lounge series Saltholm to try to capture the dual feeling. Being close and yet far away with a chilled Cava in the company of good friends, an evening in June when the sun doesn't set. Far from the stress of everyday life. We admit that we didn't quite manage to capture that restraint in the design. It is quite luxurious with the restrained design in the teak hugs balanced with soft, inviting cushions.
