PJ72 Wall lamp PJ from Örsjö Belysning is originally an industrial lamp from the 1940s. With a new design and tougher attitude During the 1940s, PeFeGe Eriksson started the production of the classic industrial lamp in Stockholm. A lamp that has a high recognition factor and that has been placed in a number of factory environments over the years. With us at Örsjö Belysning, there is an original copy of one of our lathes. Architects Ann Morsing and Beban Nord at Box Arkitekter took on the challenge of bringing the lamp into the future with a new updated design. However, all the time with strong recognition of the origin that had disappeared from production since the 1990s. "We saw that it would be perfect to develop into a slightly more room-clean product that would work in interior design contexts," says Beban Nord at Box Arkitekter. Today, this timelessly modern and updated PJ series is manufactured and used in homes as well as in offices and in public spaces at Örsjö Belysning in Nybro. It fits well in various environments and feels both cool and practical. The name PJ has been around since its inception. "It is the original name, which felt natural to use," says Beban Nord. The wall lamps are available in three sizes. PJ71 works like a classic bedside lamp. PJ72 has a longer arm that extends over the work surface or desk. The PJ70 has the standard version with two arms. The PJ series is made of lacquered metal.
