Galaxy Floor lamp
Jonas Bohlin and Örsjö Belysning have worked closely together for many years and classics such as Kvist and Star have been formed. Not infrequently, his design offers surprises and humor, whether it is in the object itself or the choice of name.
The products that have been developed are clear signs that Jonas Bohlin's design is not a dragonfly, but sustainable and long-term projects.
In 2002, Galaxy was drawn into a project. The product feels as highly topical today as at launch.
The lamp is supported on a heavy and solid steel base in black textured color. The construction is based on two light sources, an adjustable reading lamp whose arm extends over the armchair. At the top of the lamp is a dimmable, wide-beam halogen lamp in a porcelain holder. The light sources are lit separately. The shape of the lamp is stylish, as if it both wants and does not want to be seen.
