Dokka Pendant
Dokka is a small pendant with a big history. Designed in 1954 by Birger Dahl, it was the first lamp from Norway to receive a gold medal at the prestigious Triennale di Milano. It became one of the best-selling pendant lamps ever made in Norway. Dokka was celebrated for its smooth contours, precise proportions and stylish material handling - it had the potential to become a design classic from day one! Unfortunately, sales ended when the then manufacturer discontinued its lighting range, but in 2007 Northern Dokka relaunched the pendant. Here, care was taken to preserve the features that made it a design classic. Today, the lamp is made of steel or brass and made to last a long time.
