Ochre Fields Wool Rug
Ochre Fields Wool Rug - In proud collaboration with artist Evelina Kroon, Layered introduces a collection that explores the boundary between art and interior design. With references to traditional female craftsmanship, four rugs in 100% wool are presented that balance strict graphic expression with a color palette that dares to challenge. The result is a collection that conveys both timelessness and courageous contemporaneity. Crossing boundaries and allowing - that is the background why Evelina Kroon entered into the collaboration with LAYERED with great commitment.
The opportunity to translate her art into textile works that are intended to take place on floors in homes around the world, almost like everyday objects, felt both interesting and challenging. The rugs included in the collection “A walk in the park” are born from the impressions of a park in transformation - from beautiful flowering and rain to the changing, rotting shades of autumn. It is introduced with the hope of a collection that can take hold in our homes. Which reminds us of how interior design and design can be pleasurable, challenging and beautiful. Where tradition, history and contemporary times are woven together in an obvious way.
