Soft Edge 60 Chair Iskos-Berlin's Soft Edge chair and bar stool series were originally created by exploring innovative techniques on how to shape plywood. The Copenhagen-based design duo collaborated with HAY to push the boundaries of industrial casting. This is done by combining strong curves with extreme ease to create a three-dimensionality that is not normally possible with 2D plywood. All edges of the thin, soft-shaped seat are bent away from the body, designed to optimize human-centered comfort for constant shifting movement. The series has since expanded to include chairs and bar stools with frames in wood or steel with different finishes, while the seat is available in 2D plywood, upholstery or plastic in different colors. All designs are strong, stackable and functional. If you have sensitive floors at home such as wood, then the furniture padding Felt Gliders is recommended. Can be stacked with up to 10 chairs in the same stack.
