Oskar Armchair
Oskar's armchair differs in part from Carl Malmsten's other armchairs. It was made as early as 1935 and unfortunately there is not much documented about the origin of this armchair, but it is reminiscent of the interior of the living room at Ulriksdal castle. In 1923, the castle was given to the crown prince couple Gustav and Louise and Carl Malmsten was commissioned to do the decor for this. Possibly Oskar, who is a royal name, could be a formidable idea from that time.
