Superellipse Dining table wood top
The superelliptical shape is a symbiosis of the beauty of the rectangular and elliptical shapes. The form was originally developed by Piet Hein to solve traffic problems during the construction of Sergels Torg, but Bruno Mathsson soon saw its potential in furniture design. The result was the Superellips table with the revolutionary clamps that give the table top a light and "floating" character while being stable and easy to assemble.
Leg colors
Colors other than chrome on legs are available at an additional cost. Choose between: black lacquer / white textured lacquer / aluminum lacquer / matte chrome plating. Contact the store for price details.
