Superellipse Dining table white laminate
The superelliptical shape is a symbiosis of the beauty of the rectangular and elliptical shapes. Forms were originally taken by Piet Hein to solve traffic problems during the construction of Sergels Torg, men Bruno Mathsson soon saw its potential in furniture design. The result was the Superellipse table with the revolutionary clamps that give the table top and light and "floating" character while being stable and easy to assemble.
