Simris table lamp
After the lighting fair in Copenhagen in 1970, ateljé Lyktan received a request from the organizers of the Munich Olympics if the company could present a quote for a lighting proposal for the Olympic Games in 1972. A luminaire concept with the lamp Simris was worked out and after months of negotiations, ateljé Lyktan received 70% of the total order, which was basically all interior lighting for the Olympic Village, and even today this is the largest order in the studio of Lyktan's history. Simris has a luminaire housing made of aluminum and chromed steel frame. The footplate is made of leather-clad steel. Simris has a glare cover in injection molded plastic and a red textile cable.
