Bombus table lamp
Bombus table lamp is part of a series of lamps by Lars Bessfelt. When Lars Bessfelt was looking for components to use in his lighting design in the 1980s, he found a new flat light source that could replace the light bulb. Under these new conditions, Lars created a decorative table lamp with a circular wooden base in glued beech, a construction inspired by how wagon wheels were made at the time. A simple tube clamped in the wooden lamp base would make it possible to adjust the height of the lamp and the luminaire with a timeless and simple shape was named Bombus.
