Lukki Chair
Lukki chair from Artek was originally designed by Ilmari Tapiovaara and was part of the Lukki collection for the Helsinki University of Technology student residence. Composed of tubular steel with seat, back and armrests made of pressed birch plywood, the Lukki chair is versatile and highly versatile: stackable, light and durable. The short arms can be pulled close to a table, making it possible to study at a desk and eat dinner, while providing support and comfort. Lukki means "dad long-legged" in Finnish, a name as whimsical as the chair is practical.
