Lounge Chair 43
Lounge chair 43 was designed by Alvar Aalto in 1937. Here, Aalto explores further possibilities for using bentwood. The strength of the birch can comment with that of tubular steel, but here the wood gives a warm feeling. The linen ribbons are shaped according to the position of the body and provide good comfort. The straps can be replaced if necessary and the lounge chair can be missing, which means that Lounge Chair 43 has many life cycles.
Choose between several different designs, clear or black lacquer and colors on the linen webbing.
