Karin 73 Armchair
Four years after the first Karin armchair, a new model was launched that was named Karin 73. After being absent from production for over twenty years, Karin 73 was successfully relaunched as DUX Design Revival 2012. Unlike a normal Karin armchair, which has buttons in the back and seat, Karin 73 has a tight deeply tufted seat cushion.
Bruno Mathsson designed four classic models, Pernilla 69, Jetson, Ingrid and Karin, together with DUX in the 1960 and -70. The first one was Karin, from 1969, who was named after Bruno Mathsson's wife.
